What is Jasmine Pearl Tea? During the brewing process, jasmine pearls undergo what is known as the "agony of the leaf" and unfold in a way that is analogous to the unfolding of the leaves on a plant that has grown from a seed. The fresh and seductive flavor of jasmine pearls may be enhanced by steeping them up to three times. Young Chinese green tea leaves are hand-rolled into jasmine pearls.
