Mixed Fruit Tea
What is mixed fruit tea? Infusing fruit tastes into a tea foundation, such as a base made of black or green tea, for example, is the technique that is most often used to make fruit tea. Extracts, fruit juices, or bits of dried fruit may be blended in with the tea leaves to impart a fruity taste. Alternatively, tea can be flavored using fruit extracts. The second process, which involves steeping the dried leaves and bark of certain fruit trees in boiling water, results in a taste that is more subdued.
