Brazing Rods
Braze welding is the use of a bronze or brass filler rod coated with flux to join steel work pieces. The equipment needed for braze welding is basically identical to the equipment used in brazing. Brazing is the process of joining two independent pieces of metal to form one strong load-bearing joint. Brazing is similar to soldering, but at higher temperatures. Use the right brazing rod material for the metal used in your project. The brazing rod should be melted by the heat of the metal pieces being joined, not by direct contact with the flame of the torch. Use a torch that produces a high intensity flame.
