The most popular pointe shoes in the world, Freed Classics have been hand-crafted by the Makers of Freed of London for over 90 years.  Freed Classics have slightly angled platforms, moderate wing support, U-shaped vamps, and cotton drawstrings. Made of a unique paste, the Freed Classic is designed to mold quickly and show off the control and articulation of a dancer's foot. They are made with a deep vamp and standard shank (DV/Std).  However, each Maker crafts their pointe shoes in a unique way, making each Maker's version of Freed Classics different from other Makers.  Retired makers include: Bell, Circle Cross, F, G, J, Key, Neptune, O, Spade, and Sunrise.
