Intermediate DIY

There's nothing like completing a home project to boost your confidence and mental health. Take your DIY skills to the next level in this intermediate class, and immediately start improving your living space! Using common portable power tools, you'll make a shelf and learn how to install it. We'll go over locating and fastening to studs, properly using drywall anchors, and how to make sure your shelf is level. In addition to the tools used in Intro to DIY, this class introduces using a jigsaw to cut curves and add interest to simple projects. Prerequisite: Intro to DIY Tools used in this class: Circular saw Jigsaw Drill / driver / impact driver Stud finder Level Orbital Sander Measuring, marking, and clamping tools Wall fasteners All materials and supplies are included. Class size is limited to 8 students.
