6.625" Petty Knife

This Petty knife is made of 52100. I find this size knife very useful in the kitchen, it is one of my favorite knives and many find it less intimidating than a large chef knife. It is a great size for preparing a small family meal. The handle is beautiful stabilized white oak and walnut. It is a contoured western style handle. This handle is a little thicker in girth which is good for medium to large hands. The handle was finished with multiple coats of a protective tung oil finish. The handle and blade were hand-rubbed with a mixture of purified mineral oil and beeswax. Every step of this process was completed in my workshop creating a one of a kind, hand-forged knife.
