CHEESE KNIFE & BOARD

This small cheese knife was forged from 52100 High Carbon Steel. It was ordered as a gif to go with a cheese board. It has a hollow grind to aid in food release and make cutting through blocks of cheese easier.  The handle is made of layered maple and walnut to match the cutting board, making them a unique set. The blade has a light patina to help protect it from rust. The blade was sharpened to a razors edge. Every step of this process was completed in my workshop creating a one of a kind, hand-forged knife.
