The Allman Brothers The Fox Box CD Box Set

From September 24 – 26, 2004 The Allman Brothers Band settled in for a sold-out three-night stand at The Fabulous Fox Theatre in Atlanta. The band issued recordings of the shows via its Instant Live program without much packaging or fanfare. Tomorrow, the group will release remastered audio of the Fox Box digitally followed with an 8-CD set on April 28.The Allman Brothers Band played 53 different songs over the course of the Fox Theatre run with just one repeat. Each night they performed “Dreams” with a different guitarist handling the solo. One night Derek Trucks took the solo, another night saw Warren Haynes step into the spotlight while the third “Dreams” solo featured special guest Jack Pearson, a former member of the band.
