This material is distilled from wood chips and saw dust leftover from existing specialty custom woodworkers. No trees are cut down solely to produce the oil, but the material remaining from other existing uses is distilled. There are no pesticides or chemicals used to promote growth or kill insects because this is a natural occurring species with strong resistance and no real enemies.
