Poliʻahu, ka wahine kapu hau anu o Maunakea. Poliʻahu is the goddess of snows; her home is Mauna Kea. - Mary Kawena Pukui   According to Hawaiian legend, Poli’ahu is the oldest daughter of Wākea and Kāne and older sister of Pele.
