The dress is made in a high quality kona cotton - a more historically correct fabric for the time, aside from wool. The neck ruffle and contrasting sleeve elements are done in a natural muslin, with satin ribbon accents. The bodice is fitted, the long sleeves are fully lined, and the flared, full-length skirt is hand hemmed. The dress is complete with a laced eyelet closure down the back. The detached belt is made in a chocolate brown faux leather and has snap closures beneath the buckle. The sash is made in a woven tartan, and can be tucked any way you like into the belt. All exposed seams are finished.
