[CP 315 CD] Franklin Morris, Ron Marquisee, Dick Averson, Ward Hartenstein; Electronic Beds Vol. 1 & 2, 1970-1971, Composition In Hypnotic Idiom

July 2025 release; glad to finally get this one up & running: a collection of both volumes of "Electronic Beds" issued privately by this Upstate New York (Morris was a professor of Electronic Music at Syracuse University; read on) collective of early Moog Modular owners, in an attempt to drum up advertising-jingle & sound-effect work.  Issued privately on (I'm guessing) Marquisee's Media Artists Incorporated, the two color-coded LPs (issued back-to-back in 1970 & 1971, respectively) benefit from the quite-early appearance of the 900 Series instruments (one of the first feature-length "Solo Moog" sets, following on from William S. Fischer's seminal "Omen" LP issued earlier the same year; see [CP 200 CD]) - rife with the sort of keenly channeled patch designs & elaborate momentums that rival the whole Beaver & Krause / Douglas Leedy nexus.  Reminiscent of a "Library Music" endeavour (shades of the ever-present Tod Dockstader Boosey & Hawkes run, esp. in how the br
