“Keeled Shield” original painting

“Keeled Shield” 2020 acrylic on wood 6”x6 this painting was created as a Sigil of protection, for the buyer and for us all. Reptiles are protected by a layer of modified hairs/feathers that are often “keeled” - with a little ridge running down them that makes them stronger. As much as I want us to stay centered and balanced, and  co-create a beautiful new reality from the situation we now face, I want us to be and feel safe while we do it. So I took my magic wand (aka paintbrush 🖌 ) and got to work on a rosette of keeled scales that form a shield with a small crystal ball at the buckler’s core. Of course I want you to take all necessary precautions, but I hope this helps keep us all a little safer -  Here is to the best of all possible outcomes.
