Blendtec Classic 570 CBT2 blender with Alterna Jar and Tamper

This is a red Blendtec 570 CBT2 Classic Blender with the USA Made Alterna Jar aftermarket with a tamper similar to what Vitamix propagates as an accelerator- really helpful when making paste puree sauces creams etc and you don’t want to add more liquid. The blender motor is very strong, VERY LITTLE  usage. It comes all with a 1 year residential use warranty. The Alterna Jar has a replaceable blade assembly and the material used to make it is the US Eastman Tritan Copolyester BPA Free durable plastic. It’s relatively heat resistant more and better than other food-type plastics- naturally Blendtec and Vitamix suggest you can make hot soup- We think of course while that is technically true- however are you crazy? I is still plastic. I wouldn’t do, but “they say you can”- We advise against that. Instead blend cold in the blender and then heat up on the stove.
