Alternative Tentacles is proud to present “Playa Nuclear”, the brand-new album from Tijuana, B.C. Mexico’s own DFMK. Started in 2009, DFMK have released several EP’s and a Full-Length LP before meeting Jello Biafra at an underground “if you know a punk” show at a motorcycle shop in Oakland, CA that led to the release of the “Dame Peligro” 7” in 2022. “Playa Nuclear” comes out swinging with dirty and mean rock n’ roll with a punk rock soul. Driving tempos, melodic riffs, raw leads, and high-octane vocals will make the album an instant favorite for hardcore punk fans. “Playa Nuclear” is the second full-length by the band since the self-titled LP debut in 2021! Recorded in 2023 in Tijuana by DFMK’s long-time friend and collaborator Fernando Morales, who also worked on many of the EP releases from the band including “Dame Peligro”.
