Descriptions of each coffee contained in this sample pack: Ethiopian Heirloom (Light Roast) This current lot of Ethiopian coffee beans comes from the renowned Yirgacheffe coffee-growing region of Ethiopia, Kochere, a small gem in the southern part of the country. A mere stone’s throw south of Yirgacheffe and approximately 250 miles southwest of Addis Ababa, this enchanting locale is where the magic of Ethiopian coffee comes to life. Kochere is adorned with washing stations, pivotal hubs where local farmers converge to process their carefully harvested coffee beans. The soil in t his region is rich in iron, infusing a distinct character into the beans, while the high altitude adds an extra layer of excellence to the coffee-growing process.
