The Tiny Textured Scarab

This little guy is the smallest of the textured scarabs. Somewhere between the size of the baby and the middle child, and still with some good weight!! The Scarab is a sacred beetle. The earthly for of the god Khepri. Egyptians believed that the Scarab pushed the sun across the sky each day, and would then magically re-appear the next morning. For this reason, the Scarab is the image or self-creation, transformation, and rebirth. With such powerful creative energy, the Scarab is one of the most popular amulets in Egyptian history.
