Tooled Leather Textured Drop Earrings - Silver

The texture of these silver drop earrings is inspired by tooled leather.  Add in a beautiful grey patina and these make a stunning, yet subtle, pair of earrings to go with virtually any outfit. Details: 5/8" diameter fine silver discs hang from sterling silver ear wires.  Each earring measures one inch from the top of the hook to the bottom of the drop. Each drop is textured with a tooled leather-inspired pattern made using roll printing techniques.  They are given a slight curve to highlight the pattern.  Each pair of earrings has a slightly different imprint based on the exact positioning of the metal on the textured surface while being rolled. After forming, the drops are darkened and the patina on the raised areas removed to give them a beautiful depth and interest.  They are then polished to a beautiful shine and given a wax protective coating to help maintain the finish.
