Green Codium Macroalgae

This is for a portion of Codium Macroalgae. Codium fragile. Common names for this macroalgae include: Green Candlestick Algae, Green Saltwater Macroalgae Plant, Green Seaweed plant, Stag Seaweed, Sponge Seaweed, Dead Man's Finers algae, Green Sea Fingers Macroalgae, Green Fleece algae, Felty Fingers Macroalgae, and More. Approximate Plant Size: ~2-2.5 inches. Shapes, Sizes, and Colors vary. Recommended Lighting: Moderate to higher reef capable lighting, 8-12 hours daily. Recommended Water Flow: Moderate to higher water flow. Description:  It is considered non-invassive in the aquarium meaning it will not take over. This is a dark green variety and unique shape. This species orignates from the Gulf and Florida Keys. Maintaining proper reef tank parameters (see chart below) is important with this variety as they pull nutrients from your water to grow and thrive in the aquarium. Saltwater Macroalgae are great for decorative purposes, macroalgae scapes, and nutrient export in the aquarium.
