Ruth Vase in Chartreuse

A hand carved band of circles creates a scalloped edge giving the Ruth Vase a minimalist design that blends in with both traditional and modern interiors. With simple beauty and smoothness it is perfect for holding those tall sunflowers or any other fresh floral blooms. Shown in Chartreuse. Handmade in Lawrence McRae's Boston studio 11" H x 6" W All vases are dishwasher and food safe. This vase is hand thrown with low-fire earthenware. After curing for several days, its form is smoothed and prepped for the carving process. Each perforation is tooled, carved, and cleaned several times in order to create a finished surface. After a bisque firing, it is glazed three or four times and fired a final time.
