These eggs come from happy, free-range chickens raised on our no-chemical, regenerative farm. Pasture-raised and farm-fresh, they feature rich, deep-golden yolks that you simply won’t find at the grocery store. Available farm fresh or freeze dried for long-term storage. Picked up directly at the farm stand — as local as it gets. There will be a mixture of colors - blue, beige and brown eggs - and sizes (medium and large). The hens are Ameraucana (blue eggs), Barred Rock (brown eggs), Barnvelder (brown eggs), ISA Brown (brown eggs), Naked Necks (extra large beige eggs) and Rhode Island Red (brown eggs). When a hen lays an egg, it comes with a natural protective coating called the “bloom” or “cuticle.” This thin, invisible layer seals the egg’s porous shell, helping to prevent bacteria from entering and keeping the egg fresh for a longer period. In many countries, especially in the U.S., eggs sold commercially are typically washed, sanitized, and sometimes refrigerated to meet food safet
