Join us on Friday afternoon for this limited time hands-on workshop where you’ll create a classic leather catch-all leather tray using Chicago screws. This versatile tray is perfect for keys, jewelry, tools, or everyday essentials—and makes a beautiful handmade gift. In this workshop, students will learn foundational leatherworking skills including leather selection, pattern layout, cutting, edge finishing, hole punching, and proper installation of Chicago screws. You’ll explore how simple hardware can transform a flat piece of leather into a functional, sculptural object. Students will choose from a selection of high-quality Italian leathers and leave with a completed leather tray, along with the skills and confidence to recreate the project at home. No prior experience is required—this workshop is suitable for beginners and enjoyable for those with some leatherworking background. All tools and materials are provided.
