Matthew 1:22 - 23 - All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: "The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel (which means “God with us”)." PROPHECIES OF THE MESSIAH FULFILLED IN JESUS Some Bible scholars suggest there are more than 300 Old Testament prophetic Scriptures completed in the life of Jesus Christ.  Circumstances such as his birthplace, lineage, and method of execution were beyond Christ's control and could not have been accidentally or deliberately fulfilled. The fulfillment of all these prophecies has been deemed a statistical improbability. Those of us who believe in the Christ know He is the Only One who can fulfill the mathematical improbability of all these prophecies, which stands as evidence that He is The Messiah.  As the classic Christmas carol reminds us, “Jesus, Lord at Thy birth,” is the true identity of Christ!
