Handmade porcelain french butter keeper. Stores 1 stick of room temp butter in lid of container, while the other container holds an inch of water. The water creates a seal around the butter keeping bacteria out, allowing you to have soft butter. Top is made flat so you can take it to the table with a butter knife to serve. Replace with fresh water every few days. Dishwasher safe. Comes with instruction card. Approximately measures 4.5" x 4" x 4"
