When I think of Butternut, I think of sweet and smooth with some crunchy bite. That’s what you get from a body made out of butternut and the mahogany neck brings a rich, warm sustain. We thought the flamed maple guard with a warm tint accented the wood grain nicely. For the pick ups, who doesn’t love some P-90 action? We asked Lollar to include some tortoise shell covers to match.
