PSITTACUS High Energy Plus Handfeeding

It is indicated to hand-rear those parrot species that need especially high fat diets. It contains a mix of vegetable fats suitable for these species: palm and coconut oils. It also contains papaya which favours digestive transit. It is a follow-on hand-feeding formula that should be used from the moment pin feathers emerge until weaning. It is advisable to prepare the formula with lukewarm water at a concentration of approximately 25 % solids. It is recommended to administer the formula with a soft feeding tube.
