Eggshells are made exclusively from calcium carbonate. STRONGER BONES & EGGSHELLS is 100% calcium carbonate. Calcium is required for healthy bone growth. DIRECTIONS FOR USE:Feed STRONGER BONES & EGGSHELLS once or twice per week to non-breeding birds and up to 5 times per week for breeding birds. Sprinkle the appropriate amount on your bird's food (fruits, vegetables, or moist seed):- 1 pinch (262mg) for a pair of finches or per parakeet.- 2 pinches (524mg) per cockatiel.- 4 pinches (1g) per African Grey parrot.- 8 pinches (1/2 US tsp or 2.1g) per large macaw parrot.Or, you may add 2 oz (57 grams) to 6 lbs (2.7kg) of dry food.
