The inducation motor of the Optima TLX is air cooled and has no gears or brushes, and the drive does not require and oil vacuum seal. This centrifuge is microprocessor controlled and operates by a touch-key control pad. Compatible rotors can accommodate sample volumes from 0.2ml to 5.1ml per tube.
