6' Hamilton SafeAire High-line VAV Fume Hood The 6' Hamilton SafeAire High-line VAV Fume Hood ensures optimal containment and energy efficiency with its advanced Variable Air Volume (VAV) exhaust system. This system maintains constant face velocities by adjusting the exhaust volume in response to sash position changes. Maximum air is exhausted when the sash is open, while minimum air is exhausted when the sash is closed. To achieve optimal containment and satisfactory dilution, a minimum flow of 25 CFM per square foot of interior workspace should be maintained, as recommended by NFPA.
