Square Straight Steel Direct Burial Pole, ASTM A500 Grade B, Custom Heights & Gauges, Embedded Mount The ALS-RPSQ series square straight steel poles are engineered for direct burial (embedded) applications in commercial, municipal, and institutional exterior lighting projects. Fabricated from one-piece, weldable-grade carbon steel structural tubing (ASTM A500 Grade B, minimum yield strength 46,000 psi), these poles offer uniform wall thickness, flat sides, and exceptional torsional strength—ensuring reliability for area lighting, parking lots, walkways, and roadway installations. Each pole features a full-length longitudinal resistance weld and is uniformly square in cross-section with minimal corner radii. The direct burial design eliminates the need for anchor bolts and base plates, simplifying installation and reducing project costs.
