2022Eau de ParfumShawn Maher - Maher Olfactive Shawn: From the first time I heard it as a kid, the expression always seemed so mystical and full of wonder. Red skies at night, sailors delight. Red Skies in morning, sailors take warning. For a kid who only knew about the high seas from books and stories, it fed into the larger-than-life idea of life at sea.  This inspired this chypre composition that sails through the salty ocean air. It opens with bright, sunny skies and, as it evolves, transforms into a more rich and traditional chypre base. Dave: Zesty citrus, tropical florals and sun-cracked wood survive the storm of mossy, hard-worn leather and salt-sprayed, musky vetiver. A full journey by sea through calm and rough waters. Red Skies Notes: Kaffir lime leaf, bergamot, ocean air, jasmine, davana, orange blossom, ylang ylang, oakmoss, labdanum, leather and musk.
