Sound Level Meter Calibrator

The SPL-105 Sound Level Meter Calibrator is used to verify the SPL Meter is functioning properly and if necessary, re-calibrate.  Two way slide switch allows for calibration at 94dB or 114dB.  For use with American Recorder SPL meters or any SPL meter with 1/2" or smaller diameter microphones.  Operates with 9v DC battery.  Complies with IEC 942 Class 2. Specifications:  Output Sound level pressure: 94dB and 114dB  Output Frequency: 1000Hz +/- 4%  Accuracy: ±0.5dB  Frequency of 1000 ±0.1% Hz allows for calibration with A, B, C or D weighting networks or linear  Operating temperature range: -10 to +50°C  Reference Conditions: Temperature 23 C (73 F) 1013 mbar, 65%RH  Power: One 9V Battery 006P or IEC 6F22 or NEDA 1064  Low Battery Check: Calibrator will cut sound pressure output if battery voltage falls below acceptable range.
