The Supermerino Sweater

Welcome our exceedingly luxurious Supermerino Sweater to the lineup, bringing together two of our best-selling styles.Like The Supemerino sock, this sweater uses Italian woolen-spun yarn instead of worsted-spun yarn for breathability while retaining warmth. Using a similar pattern to The Shaker Sweater, the drape and loft of this knit is unlike any other.The Shakers, or 'Shaking Quakers,' created this knit pattern – a group of Christian pacifists who settled in New York state circa 1774. The Shakers were prolific inventors and designers known for their historic and iconic contributions. We took it a step further, reversing the entire sweater to expose the rib of the knit for enhanced texture.
