American Lifeguard and Safety Training™ The American Lifeguard and Safety Training™ is a trademark of the American Lifeguard Association® health and safety courses. The American Lifeguard Association has been offering lifeguard training for over 30 years and has trained over 250,000 individuals worldwide. The US Labor Department has determined our lifeguard programs are equivalent to the American Red Cross training program. SPECIAL NOTICE: We require all providers to make a payment on the very same day of the testing. The $75.00 per student fee is to be made after the last exam is taken for the day. There is no charge for individuals who fail the exam and payment is only needed for students who pass. Regretfully, if payment is not received on the day of the exam, the results will be voided, and there is an additional $75 processing fee for retrieving each exam result in generating the certification.
