2-1/2" Galvanized Steel Tension Band

If you've thought about what accessories are needed for building a chain link fence, you need to put Galvanized Steel Tension Bands on your shopping list. This band, absolutely essential to fence building, is used in combination with tension bars (sold separately) to not only attach chain link fence fabric between terminal posts but stretch the fabric so that your fence is rigid and secure. Without this tension, it's very easy to remove your fabric and/or crawl under it. To attach the steel tension bands to your terminal posts (end posts, corner posts, gate posts, etc.), all you need to do is slide the bands over and down the post, spacing them out evenly. Then slide a 5/16" x 1-1/4" bolt (sold separately) through the tangs of each band and tighten. This secures it in place.
