When combined with a tension bar, this tension band is perfect for tightening chain link material and for securing barb wire, truss rod tighteners, rail caps and much more. Where is it installed? 2” square tension band is installed by sliding over the 2” square terminal post once the post is set. Tension bands will be evenly placed on each terminal post. How many do you need? You will need multiple tension bands for every stretch of fence. You will need one less tension band than the height of the fence, with a minimum of three tension bands.
