Thrives in the heat of summer – a cloud of smoky-blue Perovskia (Russian Sage) in bloom is beautiful. Blue Jean Baby is one of the earliest Perovskia to bloom. Russian Sage is a graceful aromatic shrub with an open habit. Long spikes of silvery-blue flowers accent its complementary silver-gray foliage. Flowers almost two months from the summer into the fall. Shrub-size, semi-woody plants for full sun. Care Zones 4 - 9. 6+ hours of sun daily. Blue Jean Baby is heat and drought tolerant and perfectly sized for most garden spaces. Prefers dry to average well-drained soil. Blooms midsummer to midfall. Should not be cut back hard in the fall, leaving some stem buds for next year's growth.  Growth Habit 28” - 32” tall and 24-36” wide. Compact, bushy mound with fragrant silver foliage.
