Neem Tree

Neem Trees are a powerful and beneficial addition to any home or outdoor space. The Neem Benefits have many incredible properties that make them great additions to gardens, terraces, patios and more. In our zone, we consider these a houseplant (zone 7) as they will not tolerate our cold weather outside in the winter. The neem tree is said to be known for its medicinal uses - it’s anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, antibiotic & antiseptic in nature. Most people know Neem as a natural insecticide.  We sell Neem products at the garden center for pest repellent properties (limonene)!  Growth Habit Neem trees grow fast in full sun and prefer moist (not wet) soil that drains well and is high in organic matter.  Care Grows best in zones 9-11 and with temperatures around 65 F. They can tolerate temperatures down to 50 F.  Toxicity Neem oil is practically non-toxic to birds, mammals, bees and plants. Neem oil is slightly toxic to fish and other aquatic organisms.
