Tesla LDU Rotor Coolant Delete Cap

Fix the fatal flaw in your Tesla large drive unit (LDU) today before it's too late! Tesla Model S and X (models 2012 to 2020) contain an ambitious but flawed innovation that sends coolant into the motors spinning rotor shaft in order to help keep the motor cooler overall.  Coolant in these drive units makes quite the journey, traveling through the motor stator, motor rotor, gear box and inverter power electronics.  Impressive but sadly a flawed system as we all would come to learn later as the tricky coolant seals began to fail.
