A portal into a world beyond the veil. This handmade fine silver pendant was born from an experience of deep reverence in the temperate rain forests of New Zealand’s South Island. During a walk along the Lake Gunn Nature Trail, I came across a hollowed tree trunk, dark with damp and life — and suspended within it, a jeweled spiderweb glistening with dew. It felt like a gate into another world. An ancient hush hung in the moss-laden air. I wanted to carry that feeling — the wonder, the stillness, the sense of being connected to something vast and unseen — back with me. The pendant captures that moment: an organic teardrop of fine silver with the impression of a spiderweb nestled among leaves and bark textures, finished with a soft patina and set with a tiny, luminous peridot — a green gem to echo the vitality of the forest.
