He founded Philabaum Glass Gallery and Studio in Tuscon, Arizona in 1975 and continues to create and display his works there. Tom is a versatile artist, working with a variety of techniques including, most notably, dalle de verre. Tom studied at the Toledo Museum of Art School in the early 60s which was a fortuitous time as that is the same period when Harvey Littleton, father of the Studio Glass Movement, began experimenting with glass at the school.
