What started Fay Miller on her path to create her Shardz collection was a desire to craft beauty with her own two hands. She left a career working in graphic arts to take on artist glass creating. Intrigued by the reflective nature of glass, Miller’s work tends to be highly decorative and undisciplined – delighting in the random beauty of the glass shards and everything wonderful, joyful and ritualistic they represent.  Shardz exhibits include Beverly Hills Affaire in the Gardens 2011 – third place in glass, California State Fine Arts Exhibit-two awards of merit, Marin Museum of Contemporary Art, Group Exibit December 2010, Marin Society of Artists National Show 2009, California Class and Glass Artists Palo Alto
