"The Butterfly Series" by Carl Brenders (born 1937), The Exotic Group, Mill Pond Press, Florida (1993). Limited edition #42/290, with certificates of authenticity. Internationally celebrated Belgian artist celebrates the diversity, beauty, wonder, and pollinating potential of Lepidoptera with his signature nature and wildlife realism. The works begin in pencil sketches and are developed via a mixed-media technique with watercolor and gouache. The collection is printed on an offset lithographic press on museum-quality, acid-free, pH-neutral, coated paper, and the films were destroyed.
