Rough-cut pages. 429 pages (vii-xvii +429pp+4pp Macmillan book ads and blank pages). The frontispiece depicts Mr. Crawford draping Fanny with a shall. Cracking to hinge and gutters, exposing netting. Bumped corners. Gilt dulled, darkened. Tanned. Foxing, most noticeable on the pastedowns. Soiled with thumb-marking, smudges, and black spots, thus fair. scarcity rating: 2   SOLD.
