Vajra Longsleeve Shirt
Our Vajra printed Longsleeve is made from an Organic cotton and bamboo blend, soft and durable. A subtle double Vajra is printed on the sleeves, which have thumbholes to keep your hands warm, and inside the double-lined collar. The subtle print is offset by the starker gold printed double Vajra inlaid into the side of the shirt. All screen-prints are designed by us. Vajra is a Sanskrit word meaning both thunderbolt and diamond. Additionally, it is a weapon which is used as a ritual object to symbolize both the properties of a diamond (indestructibility) and a thunderbolt (irresistible force). The Vajra is representative of upaya, (skillful means) It consists of a spherical central section, with two symmetrical sets of five prongs, which arc out from lotus blooms on either side of the sphere and come to a point at two points equidistant from the centre, thus giving it the appearance of a "diamond scepter", which is how the term is sometimes translated.
