
Rollcii MTA30 Rim
Please note: Rim shipment costs will be calculated after you order, and will be billed separately. There are more good rims these days than bad ones. The ‘igloo’ rim profile that disc brakes allow for makes it relatively easy to make a nice rim that’s strong and stiff. For years our go to rim for bike packing and ATB bikes was the Velocity Blunt 35. It’s still fine, but I like the finish of these Rollcii rims more. They’re also more affordable, and eyeleted, both of which are good features. Eyelets make for a smoother wheel build, as they reduce friction at the rim/nipple interface. That means it’s easier to get the rim to higher tension. The black rims are a sort of glossly deep black. The Silver rims are a lightly brushed silver finish that is almost a polish. They look as nice as polished rims, but cost way less. 30mm inner width, same as a Blunt 35. You can run up to a 3” tire at 12 psi on these and they feel solid. Use a tire insert like a cush core at that pressur
