This particular vintage find is for the Ford Mustang owners in the house! The Mustang name first appeared on a 1962 concept called the Mustang I, and the galloping horse was created by designer Phil Clark. That summer designers put their heads together and decided on Clark’s version with the galloping horse and the red, white and blue bars behind, signaling the marque’s American heritage.
