Ancient walrus skull

This is an authentic walrus skull from the Pleistocene era dating as far back as 2.5 million years ago. These animals are virtually identical to the beautiful walrus all of us are familiar with today. This marine mammal was found in Alaska near the beaches where these ancient animals wash up. You can really feel the density of the top of the skull containing the replica tusks and the mandible as well. We put him on this custom steel stand to show the sheer size this walrus was. The tusks are casts due to laws regarding ivory trade.(Great laws) There is nothing as cool with this price tag on the fossil market right now.
