Egyptian Papyrus Bookmarks - Tut Bookmark - King Tutankhamun: Life, Death, & Family - History Educational
Tutankhamun, also known as King Tut, was an Egyptian pharaoh who reigned from 1332 to 1323 B.C. He ascended to the Egyptian throne as a child, when he was eight or nine years old, and was mentored by several key figures, including Ay, the Grand Vizier and possibly Tut's maternal grandfather, and Horemheb, the military commander-in-chief. Despite his importance in modern history, the boy king's reign was brief and insignificant in ancient Egyptian history. Only after his death in 1922 was his tomb and mummy discovered, both of which were incredibly preserved and provided valuable insights into the history of ancient Egypt. Tut's most significant achievement was restoring the Amun-Ra cult and returning Egypt to polytheism, which reversed his father, Akhenaten's, religious reforms. • Material: High Quality %100 Certified Original Authentic Papyrus Paper • Dimensions: Approximately W x H = 1.75 x 7.10 inch W x H = 4.60 x 18.0 cm Weight= 6 - 8 oz • Imported from Giza, Egypt These Egyptian m
