Wolf - 20x30 - Digital Painting - 2022

I recently took a stroll into the world of abstract cubism. I do this from time to time, find a style I've never tried before, study it a bit, and then dive in. It was a fun experiment where I was able to express beliefs and thoughts and feelings about this existence. Once I had said what I wanted to say, learned what I wanted to learn, I meandered back to wildlife.When I got back to wildlife I found that I had dragged some of the abstract cubism with me. I brought a looser approach to form and color. I brought a boldness in angles and lines. It is the same as some of my other recent wildlife pieces, but different as well. Perhaps more complete. - Canvas frames are made of FSC® certified wood.
